Nitrite CHEMets® Visual Test Kit - Azo Dye Formation (NED) 0-0.1 & 0-1 ppm as N

Nitrite CHEMets® Visual Test Kit utilizes an Azo Dye Formation Method, where nitrite reacts with sulfanilic acid to create a colored azo dye. This allows for accurate and precise measurement of nitrite levels in an acidic solution. A primary aromatic amine and 4,5-dihydroxynaphthalene2,7-disulfonic acid are used to produce a pink-orange color, which is directly proportional to the nitrite concentration.  Results are expressed as ppm 
(mg/L) nitrite-nitrogen (NO2-N). To convert results to ppm NO2, multiply by 3.3.
